About the Client
Ainanani Coffee is a family-owned farm located in the volcanic heart of Kona, Hawaii. Since 2022, they’ve been growing 100% organic Kona coffee with care, sustainability, and deep respect for the land. We were honored to bring their vision to life through brand identity, packaging, and a full Shoify Store experience.
The Challenge
Ainanani needed more than just packaging—they wanted their origin story visible from the first glance. Kandō-style simplicity on shelves, deep cultural roots, and seamless customer trust in the Shopify store were non-negotiables.
Our Approach
We launched with a logo that married Hawaiian flora with clean typography. For packaging, we designed three distinct color-coded matte-laminate bags (Typica, Geisha, Catimor), balancing elegance with earthy authenticity. On Shopify, we built an immersive, mobile-first e-commerce flow aligned visually and emotionally with the brand. We streamlined product info, navigation, and story sections to promote storytelling, discovery, and alignment.

Ainanani’s brand is deeply rooted in Hawaiian heritage, sustainability, and family tradition, so we made sure the design echoed those values. We also designed the branding to celebrate the founder's country. From logo to label, every touchpoint tells a story about origin, care, and community—a reflection of the values Ainanani holds close.
